One Angry Gamer "If Intelligent Cube was dipped in some cute sauce, you would likely end up with Digital Tribe Games and Cochoarts’ Almightree: The Last Dreamer. The game is a puzzle platformer that borrows inspiration from both Super Mario and Intelligent Cube, forcing gamers to think fast and react fast."
The Mako Reactor says: “With the Nintendo Switch three year anniversary this week, we speak to Indian Switch game developer GodSpeed Games on the highs and lows of making games for Nintendo’s hybrid console.”
Dragoon writes, "Almightree: The Last Dreamer by developer Chocoarts is a puzzle platformer that reminds me a lot of Catherine gameplay wise and a bit of Bastion in the art department. Gameplay revolves around progressing through levels by moving blocks using the power of plantsportation to solve the puzzles placed before you. The level will slowly crumble away so you have to move quickly to avoid failure. Catherine, one of my all time favourite puzzle platformers, had tight responsive controls and challenging puzzles so I was hoping Almightree could offer the same. So did it come close to the great games it reminds me off or is it just a pale imitation that fails to stand it’s ground?"
Almightree: The Last Dreamer has a nice concept and much of the game is actually really good.
