City Quest is a pixely point-and-click with poop jokes and dark humor abound. IndieRuckus plays the demo for a taste of this irreverent Steam game.
Serena Nelson writes: "If you're looking for something with a deep plot you won't find it here. All of the quests for each storyline are just insane ways to get our lovable loser killed off. Or to open up ways to do so. In fact, while the majority of deaths can be done on any path some require you to go down one route or the other. Which means if you want to unlock every death you'll have to play through City Quest at least four times."
Serena Nelson writes: "For those that don't remember what City Quest is, it's an adventure game where you die. And die. And die some more. You might as well call it a death simulator while trying to become one of four "classes". Play as a member of the Mafia, a Politician, a Hobo, or as a Who....Lady of the Evening. If you can survive that is. Plus, plenty of mini-games."
Serena Nelson writes: "Just what is City Quest, though? In short, it's a death simulation. Seriously, one of the main draws of the game is to see how many ways you can think of to kill the main character off. And there are four career paths that you can choose from after landing in the big city. Plus, MINI-GAMES! Who doesn't like mini games?"
