Finally! Just like COD4! I always wanted this, COD4 was the only game where I achieved that status, nowhere close in the others but I like to see that.

Monster_Tard3550d ago

It is done the same way in Black Ops 2, 10 prestiges and 55 levels per prestige.

scark923550d ago

Oh, Never noticed. glad they are keeping it!

ChronoJoe3549d ago

How was it done differently in the other games? Just curious, I only prestiged in COD4 and W@W.

Monster_Tard3549d ago

It's done basically the same, most of the games took a higher level than 55 to prestige and some of the games had more than 10 prestiges, like BO1 & AW have 15 and MW3 has 20(way more of a grind).

i finally got to try the paint job and its like any work i put into it is unnoticeable to the point where i don't see the point of using it or putting any effort in it cause any hard work i put into it would be a waste.

Then you can't use any of the paint jobs you originally did on any other gun which means i would have to do it all over again from scratch on a different gun which is annoying. Hope they work on that more.

hope its gonna be good this time round

Have you played the beta? It's a pretty bad train-wreck. Treyarch is going to have to work triple time if they want to fix this mess.

KyRo3550d ago

What absolute rubbish. It's still in beta and still a lot more polished than full retail games. I haven't liked a CoD game since BO2 but this brings it back to the good old days which even I was surprised about tbh.

TKCMuzzer3550d ago

I know people like to bash COD but I couldn't disagree with your comment more, unless you tried a different beta to me.
I think the beta has garnered far more positive impressions than negative.

DeadlyOreo3550d ago

Yeah your opinion is rubbish, I have played the beta and I love it. The specialists are certainly a great addition.

mochachino3550d ago

Beta runs better than most full releases.

And is very good.

It's actually the first time I'm interested in buy a COD game in 4 years.

Summons753550d ago

Yes tell me I'm wrong when MULTIPLE people are saying it and I sat through matches where my character played itself for a while, I fell through the floor multiple times and like everyone had awful lag or couldn't connect at all.

If this is your definition of perfect then you must play Assassin's Creed Unity...it's got all those problems and more, oh wait your blind COD fanboys who defend trash.

iDadio3550d ago

So you've had a bad experience and that means it's a train wreck? It's in beta there is bound to be problems.

On my side of things, I havnt liked a CoD since 4 and possibly some WaW, but I have got to level 20 on this beta and have met only very few problems so it's either luck of the draw in which case I'm sorry to hear it or your doing the opposite of what you are accusing people of and bashing it blindly.

It has problems sure and it needs balancing but overall I think it's the most solid one in recent memory.

Yes. Technically the beta runs very well. Super polished, crisp as hell and you get into games fast. But on a side note. It's still call of duty, just has the jet pack gimmick from AW. Same pacing, same run, shoot, die, repeat pace we've all come to know so well over the years. Nothing ground breaking or earth shattering like Cod4 or MW2. Just more of the same with slight alterations over last year's veneer. If that's your thing, you'll love it. If you've become jaded with the series and its standard gameplay, then save yourself money. Changes are minimal, it's still the same damn game.

showtimefolks3550d ago

I think treyarch are about to bring back call of duty brand back in a major way. It's found a lot of fan service and hopefully treyarch will be rewarded for their efforts

I am on interested in single player and zombie campaign. Online will be on and off for me. This would be my first cod since a long time ago

TwoForce3550d ago

Yeah, I agree. This is way much better than Advance Warfare.

Actually for me , Black Ops 3 has one of the best Call of Duty campaigns I ever played. Not the original campaign. The Zombies campaign that unlocked after beating the original campaign. So much more fun running from zombies rather than the peek a boo hide behind a rock play style. .
