Occasionally, we all get lucky and a reboot of a beloved franchise manages to get it RIGHT. Arrowhead’s take on Gauntlet is one of those rare occasions. From the off, it’s clear that they understood exactly what made the original so compelling in the first place. And i’m not talking about the ability to be a complete git by stealing all the chickens, so that your fellow adventurers all die from complications arising from an axe to the face, made fatal by a lack of poultry in their diet.
