I think Xseed should consider dropping the Englosh version of the PSP version and opt to translate this game and The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky First Chapter Evolution, as both games are newer, have new content and the English translation of the PSP version doesn't seem to go smoothly.

If they do this, I would definitely buy both games day one.

Yeaaaa, that isn't how real life works.

the PSP version we are getting is fine.

A 3rd party company is doing these Evolution versions anyways.

XSEED only translates the games...you'd have to talk to Falcom on that.

LoL. I saw the headline not noticing the "Evolution" part at the end and literally said out loud "YES!!!". Then I noticed the "evolution" and again an audible exclamation "F**K!!!"...

I'm starting to loose faith in Xseed. Second Chapter was first listed as being "late 2014" I was very understanding as to why it wasn't ready when the guy doing the translation explained how he almost committed suicide, among other things. But once they were back on track, they listed the game as being released "Summer 2015". We've only got a few weeks of "summer 2015" left... and so far nothing announced. I check in on their site forum frequently and I get the feeling like summer wont happen.

The Legend Of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter Review | PSNation

PSN:
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is a game that meshes the feeling of a traditional JRPG, such as the long-winded exposition, with some of the modern systems of more contemporary JRPGs. It still feels a little bit like a game out of time but that’s understandable given that the game was originally released in 2006.

Not that most of that matters when the underlying game is enjoyable like Trails. A strategic and deep combat system and an interesting story are the best selling points of the game. These aspects make for an easily recommendable game. Just don’t go in expecting a short or easy game experience.

ZTGD | The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Review

Jae Lee writes: It was about four long years ago that I put down my PSP after having completed the first chapter of the Trails in the Sky series.
Even though I loved the game, the cliffhanger ending was a bit infuriating to say the least, and I began my wait for the sequel so that I might see the conclusion to the story.
Weeks turned into months and months into years, as it started to feel as though I would never be able to see ending to this fantastic series. When it was finally released some four years later, I really couldn’t believe it until I loaded up the game for the first time.
In fact, the localization process of this particular title was fraught with so many trials and tribulations that it’s not an exaggeration to say that it’s a small miracle that it exists at all.
With that in mind, let’s just say that the game had a lot of expectations to live up to, and after bidding farewell to Estelle and company for the last time, I can say with confidence that it has met almost all of them.

Damn I haven't even finished the first one :/

I just finished LoH: A Tear of Vermillion like 2 months ago.

I still have Prophecy of the moonlight witch & A Cage song of the Ocea to play to finish out the Gagharv trilogy, before I even start Playing Trails in the sky & Trails SC.

I won't even get to Cold Steel until late 2016 probably.
