From Digital Tribe and Ekuator Games comes Celestian Tales: Old North, a turn-based roleplaying game created in traditional JRPG style, releasing for PC and Mac on Aug. 10.
BNR: 2015 had a lot of big great games- what made it a particularly good year for gaming was that, in addition to great sequels to loved franchises (see Halo, Fallout, Tomb Raider, Mario, etc.), there were also some really cool original games- a game about squid kids squirting ink at each other and a game about cars playing soccer were big hits this year- that's something special. There were so many great games that it was easy for some to get lost in the shuffle- here are ten that you might have missed. These ten are presented in no particular order- they're just games I enjoyed that I feel were overlooked.

Kickstarters have been all the rage of late for the funding of projects that would most likely never see the light of day without them. Celestian Tales: Old North is one such title from Ekuator Games that is a throwback to an older RPG era of gaming. With beautiful hand drawn designs, players choose one of six Nobles to control as they make it through Squire Training in order to better serve their realm.

Actually looks kinda good.
