You don't need to know the game, to play the role.

As ludicrous as it might sound, UBG defends Mark Wahlberg's recent comments about his experience with Max Payne. Asking the question, can Wahlberg really pull off the swagger of Payne without touching a controller?

I said this to begin with. If, that's if, the movie turns out sub standard then screen writer/Director are to blame, not Mark being unwilling to play the game.

He's simply a tool, his actions written, his script written, few actors have the credentials to actually effect the outcome or direction of a movie, Mark Wahlburg is not one of these.

His research will be adequate, but there are plenty of other ways to do that than just play the game. I've played both games, should I play the part? No, I maybe a gamer but I'm no actor, Mark is an actor and obviously not a gamer. But he's playing the role, not the game.

I agree with you completely, they should be able to mould him into the role. he's an actor, he gets told the role and acts as best he can. The ones who need to make sure they've gone through the game is definitely the screen writers/directors.

I hope they don't take into account the second one much though, the first was incredible and the second was just stupid ( imo ) at points.

The 'Stop Killing Games' initiative is close to its final deadline

Ross Scott—also known as Accursed Farms on YouTube—has been fighting tooth and nail for almost a full year to help spearhead game preservation. Starting after it was announced that Ubisoft's The Crew would be shutting down, permanently ending support for the game, Scott launched the "Stop Killing Games" initiative.

That makes a twofold deadline for the Stop Killing Games initiative. Or, at least, one headed up by Scott: The UK petition, which ends July 14, and the EU Citizens' Initiative, which ends July 3.

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.

"Players can now hide system apps, pin favorites to the list, and reduce the number of tiles displayed. This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Home more personal, flexible, and responsive to feedback."

This is welcomed, i like a less cluttered home screen.

Oh look no further than the "Upcoming layoffs at MS" topic. It will easily top the Hottest of the week.

Special guests like Mr. Dead might also show up. You just watch.
