With the satisfying conclusion to multiple plot threads and enough to leave us on the hook for more episodes, Halt and Catch Fire’s season finale was a success. There were some rushed beats (Bosworth comes to mind) and some cliche choices made along the way (Joanie running away from home), but all in all “Heaven is a Place” bucked enough expectation that many developments came as a pleasant surprise and set things up nicely for a potential Season 3.
