Elite: Dangerous Xbox One preview (programme)

With the coming of the much awaited new generation I went for an Xbox One. I was an early adopter and as such was invited to be part of the preview programme. Many of the features of the programme were added without much fanfare, one of these was the early access feature.

This allows members of the preview programme to have a try of some upcoming and unfinished games for either a free trial or for a small fee (I’m not really sure what this fee further entitles you to). One of the first games added to early access is the real subject of my feature, Elite: Dangerous.

Space… The final frontier… These are the voyages of the Starship [YOURNAME]. This is the essence of Elite: Dangerous. I will not bore the readers of GC with the backstory to Elite. It is a famous game, I never played the original but was aware of its ground-breaking structure and gameplay.
