GungHo Online Entertainment America announced today that the remastered version of Game Arts’ critically acclaimed JRPG Grandia II HD Edition for PC will be available for purchase on the digital distribution site GOG.com.
"The Grandia series is one of the most underrated RPG franchises so allow me to take you back to its roots and see which game is better." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Grandia 1 by realy far, grandia 2 is ok, but too short and zero difficulty, 0 side quest.
GungHo reveals the new and updated features for both games. The Remaster of the first two Grandia games was announced last month for Switch and PC.
I had played the first one on PS1, it was a nice RPG. I would like to replay it on my Switch for sure.
And here I was worried about the Switch port not getting localized and it turns out its Japan that will be missing out. Crazy.
Grandia is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I hope they bring this remaster to PS4 as well.
One of the highest rated RPGs of the early 2000s is out now on PC. Grandia II Anniversary Edition is a remastered version of the Dreamcast classic.
Fuck Yes!
Oh yeah, OMG yeah!!! fk Yeah, my most beloved rpg. Grandia 1 best.
Wow, PC is getting a ton of JRPGs lately. Tonnes of Japanese games in general, really. Which is excellent, because that means they can live on in perpetuity thanks to x86 compatibility :)
Nice coming to steam as well! Keep these jrpgs rolling in PC!
Wait... Grandia 2 was already released on PCs in 2002. I know, since I've played it on PC somewhere around then. Not sure why it's being released now.
Anyway, quite awesome game, had enormous fun playing it back then.
