Card Hunter took that nostalgic feel of those golden days of early gaming and merged it with card mechanics of games like Magic: The Gathering. This was no coincidence as Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering, is a member of the development team. I've spent many an hour going on adventures in Card Hunter, and the game just seems to keep getting better.

Damn, was looking forward to this one. I may still look into it, but given other available PC TCGs...maybe not.
It was a cool idea, too bad it sounds like it didn't really pan out.
Given I have NEVER been into these kina games I can say that reading this I am glad I am not.

Pretty epic fun with friends and dice rolls. It also features player made campaign submissions.
As to it not panning out, so far it seems hugely, hugely popular and very succesful.
