Rocket League's first post-release DLC and comprehensive patch are coming; details here

Rocket Leagues Success pretty much guarantees a Rocket League 2.

The only thing missing from this game is....well the actually league.

I don't think there'll be a Rocket League 2 anytime soon. Much like CS or Leagueof Legends, I think they'll stick with this base game and add continuous updates.

I didn't mean any time soon, but at some point maybe 4-5 years from now.

* I'd like to see actual leagues though that you play through for 2-3 weeks at a time.

I always download every free game on the PS4 and I am usually right on which ones I will like or not, but I will try them all out.

I was totally wrong on this one. I hate racing games, I *DESPISE* soccer, I really am not into cars, and I don't care much for multiplayer games.

But I really enjoyed Rocket League and find that I can just play for 15-30 minutes here and there and just have a good time.

It has for me, mine would go turbo and now it's about as loud as when I play batman.

mochachino mine is a launch console and i played rocket league day one with my headset on as usual.

didnt know about fans until an hour later as couldnt hear them.
it seems now no matter what i play my fans are louder.
im a bit annoyed because unsure where i stand with that.
if the game has damaged consoels what would happen?

This game looks intriguing, but I've been put off getting it because of the bug that overheats your PS4. Has that been fixed yet?

Yes, it has. It was to do with the grass animation on the main menu screen, it's all good now!

Well I didn't read this particular article but I did read that in this patch it's supposed to be addressed.

I know Neo said it is fixed but I thought I read they said it it will be fixed with the next patch. I could be wrong though. As long as you don't let the game idle on the main menu, you will be fine.

I´m hooked on this amazing game,best competitive online multiplayer i´ve played in years,the potencial for Esports is fenomenal,great game,2015 is showing to be a great year in gaming.
Now i´m crossing my fingers for Rainbow Six and hopeing my competive shooter thirst will be taken away.good competitive and balenced mp are rare in this day an age,hope it will change.

I hope they add actual rockets and other ways to stun opponents in a new mode. Would love a twisted metal like mode to be added in, they already have sweet tooth!

I downloaded it out of curiosity and I was instantly hooked with it. Now I dragged my friends too and we are having a good time. I Like that I can play against PC players too on my PS4.

Great game but notice lots of lag last night. Would this be down to there being 150000 players being on? This patch I guess would help

Game is too good, hit the 500's on duo/trio ranked, my only problem now is that I gain like 5 for a win, but lose 40 for a loss (I had 2 leavers in a row after letting in one goal in the first minute and I dropped from 540 to 465... then I only got 10 per win). I get that it's based on skill differences but when you can accidentally score from the kickoff or by bouncing it randomly off a ceiling and a wall, sometimes shit happens.

Not sure of the solution for that but I do think it's weird to lose so much and gain so little. Does the ranking top out at 1000 or something? Is there a top?

I'll probably buy the DLC to show support for the game. Though it'll be going pay after this month on PS4 anyway and is pay on PC right?
