Greg Micek writes: "If you didn’t hear about Olympia Rising’s release, it’s out now on Steam for a mere $4.99. That’s a pretty good deal when you consider that when the Kickstarter campaign ran in January 2014 you needed to back at $5.00 to get the game. To say that there are a lot of indie games gunning for memories and nostalgia of playing 8-bit games would be an understatement. Nonetheless, Paleozoic's Olympia Rising stands out enough by not only having an original concept to it, despite it being a 2D platformer, but by being an affordable and fun purchase for Wii U gamers."
