Activision and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 developer Robomodo know what they’re trying to do is a difficult dance: update Pro Skater for modern players while still feeling like the old days. A slip-up like the “projectiles” line in the initial release frustrates the team as much as it instills doubt in the fan base, because it really does seem like the franchise could finally be on the right track after years of experimentation and failure.

I agree wholeheartedly I would far rather the game have the right feel and the right level of fun then have crazy graphics. I would imagine the game would not have even been green lit if the idea was the push graphics.

The franchise isn't the massive monster it used to be and as such I would assume that this is really being done as something of a test to see if people will even show a moderate amount of interest in the series again.

For me as long as they get the feel and the physics of the game spot on and the levels are even half good I will be pretty happy.

looks like a mobile game and looks absolutely awful. why did Activision even think they could get away with bringing back 2 dead, obsolete and outdated franchises Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero ? hopefully both flop massively so they go back to being dead. hopefully the stale COD franchise joins them.
