Competitive gamer admits to using performance enhancing drugs

I've used drugs in the past while gaming, but in the end I decided to give up. The type of drugs I used didn't enhance my performance at all, in fact they were having quite the opposite effect!

That said, I don't think drugs really give you an edge in video gaming. It's sad these people feel the need to do so to compete.

These people are playing for real money. Anytime there is cash on the line, it gets serious. Adderall is essentially speed, which will improve reaction times. I wouldn't want that in the game either.

I think it's fine to use drugs whilst gaming. If everyone is allowed to do it, there is no unfair advantage.

Drugs can play an important role in culture, drugs aren't always bad mkay.

they would be alive, perform well at concerts, and not die at an early age? i'm not sure if drugs and alcohol heighten ones talents to write music or is the only time they are able to get into that state of mind to do amazing things. perhaps i'm wrong.

i guess with videogames i see it more as a casual hobby but as a serious competitor they suggest it can help them focus. the only way to really find out is to test them while they are on drugs and while they are not to see how much better they are.

Yes, ADHD drugs are speed. Speed also in the correct doses will give you extra concentration etc. They are UPPERS. They have the same effect on your body as speed, because, they are speed. LOL.

Adderall = Amphetamine-dextroamphetamine combination

That does not change the fact that it is in fact speed. That is the only assertion I made. Just because speed has that effect on hyperactive people does not change the fact that is is speed. Also it does not 'slow you down' it effectively focuses you more so you brain can stay in check.

No Wonder why I get my ass handed to me in Call of Duty and Halo! These pros are on drugs that gives them extreme concentration! How can I beat that?

Personally, I don't care, let him do what he wants.
In fact, I've compared I've compared my lethality in many online or competitive games when sober and not sober, and unless I'm drinking alcohol, I'm typically 40 to 60 percent more lethal when I'm stoned or high than when I'm sober.

There's even certain scenarios where I am 200% more lethal than typical, and of course there are still those times where I just can't get into the right rhythm.
Overall tho, I know being messed up makes me a better player. I have recorded videos and gone back and compared them hundreds of time throughout the years and there is no question that they help my performance.
