"Microsoft last week traveled to San Francisco, rounding up Windows XP users who had negative impressions of Vista. The subjects were put on video, asked about their Vista impressions, and then shown a "new" operating system, code-named Mojave. More than 90 percent gave positive feedback on what they saw. Then they were told that "Mojave" was actually Windows Vista.
..of that perception, Microsoft belatedly acknowledges, stems from Apple's successful and unchallenged anti-Vista campaign. But, after stewing over the ads on many of his morning runs, Veghte decided that it was time to strike back, even without a new version of Windows to tout. Apple, he said, has "crossed a line" from fact into fiction." writes cnet.com
Sony has quietly lifted regional restrictions on multiple PlayStation titles on Steam, allowing more players to access their games worldwide.
Thank you for using the term "region" since that was always what happened. The amount of media that used the term country led to many misinformed people.

and i like vista so i hope they accomplish it. only noobs bash it. its come a longgg way since release
Especially since its harder to play PC games on it, XP still king!!!!!!!!
i've been using vista and I've had no problems with it, runs smooth, better than xp in my opinion.
i left windows and went linux a long time ago :D Ubuntu FTW!! but dam i really wanna see how microsoft will go against apple this is gonna be a WAR :D
I think it's a perception problem that people have. Sure Vista is slower in performance than XP, but I like Vista over XP in many ways, if you leave out the annoying UAC popups, yadda yadda. Still, I'm satisfied with Vista, mainly because the performance hit isn't that big on my top of the line rig.
