GameZone: "Looking to clarify some confusion surrounding Fallout 4's resolution and frame rate, Bethesda has officially confirmed the game will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on Xbox One and PS4. On PC, resolution and frame rate will not be limited in any way."

"Resolution and FPS are not limited in any way on the PC"

Of course it's not. All multiplats I purchase on the PC. PC version FTW :)

T9003661d ago (Edited 3661d ago )

Hell yea why would it be limited. 1080p might be the roof for the consoles. Yet its just the floor on the PC.

I am personally playing at a DSR resolution between 5160 * 2160 - 6880 * 2880.

1080p to me is ancient news. I find it funny when 1080p comparisons are held between PC vs console lol.

MRMagoo1233661d ago

Well if you saw the news about the game being 1080p 30fps on everything the other day some people were convinced that was PC as well.

"some people"

Not us PC gamers.

Neixus3660d ago (Edited 3660d ago )

@Khajiit86

There are actually a few games on PC where it's locked FPS and resolution, like Dark Souls.

Stop tryharding as a pc masterrace dude, your PC is probably bad aswell :^)

Cernunnos3661d ago

This is a given. If it was for some silly reason locked, I wouldn't even considder buying it.

I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast83d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos83d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

TheColbertinator83d ago

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar185d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

anast184d ago

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082184d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
