Some crappy meteoroid spin-off for 3DS no one asked for and the wrong zelda to show at e3 I don't know what could be worse with this conference....have fun..lol...with the Mario tennis lololololol

Also, that star fox game looked disappointing, Nintendo has made much better looking games on the ORIGINAL WII than this game.

3DS was fine but mannn If I was a wii-u owner I would be pretty mad right now.

Yeah, there was no beating Sony this year, but then Sony had maybe the best E3 showing of all time. They unveiled 3 of the top 5 most desired gaming white whales in one damn show.

If you actually look at Nintendo's holiday line-up -- Mario Maker, Star Fox, Xenoblade, Yoshi, Mario Tennis -- it really isn't bad at all.

That's simply not enough when they have no third party support.

Even Sony, who don't have a great holiday lineup from their first party studios this year, do have Call of Duty, Battlefront, Fallout 4, Hitman, Need for Speed, Uncharted Remastered, Destiny's expansion, Just Cause 3, Mad Max, Batman etc.

If they hadn't alienated third parties with their hardware then I would say their lineup is more than okay, but in their current situation it all amounts to a completely pitiful offering for the Wii U, seemingly for both the rest of this year.

Well your not so get over it, meanwhile being an actual Wii U owner sure the show was pretty lame but I'm yet to play pikmin 3, Lego City undercover, earthbound, smash bros properly, captain toad, Bayonetta 2, Wii U has more than enough going on currently shame it's not the best show but never heard of Nintendo direct?! Nintendo do about 4-5 shows a year. Sony won it tho hands down.
As for this showing from Nintendo works out to them moving on to the next system tho, that's a bit of a leap, surely they would have mentioned it or at least shown it off of the Wii U was going anywhere in the next 12/24 months... It's not get over it ;)
Im just surprised that the brand New "New 3DS" has been completely forgetten, only launched in the last 6 months.

They seem to not have anything for Wii U which was extremely distressing for anyone who was on the fence about purchasing one.

I said in an earlier comment that Nintendo announcing NX so early in a console's life cycle only means that they would be shifting focus from the Wii U. This E3 really proved that.

On a positive note: mabe we get a strong lineup for the NX from the beginning. (If it actually turns out to be a console.)

That would be the worst news. I thought it was older but the Wii U isn't even 3 years old yet apparently. Abandoning a system that early on is unheard of. I definitely wouldn't buy their next system if that was the case.

I tuned in just to see if there was any justification for buying a WiiU, like say Zelda! There wasn't, and I was bored to tears watching grown men play with wee wittle toys and show nothing but kiddie games and a PS2 looking Starfox......how lame.

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good by any means. Nintendo isn't investing enough into it's home consoles and focusing too much on handheld. Sure it's more successful but so would your home consoles if you put some more effort aka more/better games (New IP), and some advertising. With that said, the rest of 2015 is actually quite good for us WiiU owners.

I'm looking forward to StarFox, Xenoblade, Devils Third, Fast Racing Neo, and Mario Maker, and that's just the rest of 2015. There's also Yoshi's Wooly World, which looks cool. Mario Tennis and AC Amiibo Festival are pretty weak in my books. And of course if you own a 3ds you have many more games to look forward to.

Edit: Still waiting for Punch Out and Metroid for WiiU Nintendo...and Zelda better be worth the wait.
