NE: "I can’t help but wonder, however, whether the specific release dates may be a bad idea, and if the American release should follow suit or approach the release date a different way."
CEMU 1.11.2 is now available to Patreon members. Below you can find Pokken Tournament, Hyrule Warriors and Devil's Third running on the PC thanks to CEMU.
Nintendo has officially taken down the servers for Wii U shooter Devil's Third developed by Valhalla Game Studios.
and this is why we should not support nintendo any more
they done it with the wii and they killed the ds off for no reason.
total bad for business
Wait why are peopole acting like they care now? You didn't when it was released.
I don't think Itagaki is crazy for making a Wii U exclusive.
I think he's crazy for pushing out a half baked, flawed as all hell, generic gore fest on the Wii U without making use of any of the console's specific features, and throwing his toys out of the pram when people criticise it.
Tomonobu Itagaki, outspoken former leader of Tecmo's Team Ninja and current leader of Valhalla Game Studios, has spent the last eight years of his life working on the action game Devil's Third.
I hate say this but the game is sent to die.
I think it'll be fine.
I don't think the game will fail but it is quite a bad idea. There will be two exclusives competing between themselves for the online.
Most gamers will get both, I don't see the issue here, I've got splatoon but that won't stop me getting devil's third, the more the merryier.
If nothing was coming out then no doubt the article would read Wii u drought no games or something like that.
I agree with you both,
games look great and they are both shooter but look and play very differently.
-There is no harm in having 2 shooters out at the same time.
The only thing I can see as a problem is maybe the hype.
The article talked about the lack of build up for this game.
Gamers like me have known about this game before it was slated for a Nintendo Plat. but I am not sure what the rest of the community knows.
But
I am certain that Nintendo is going to Strongly Feature this game at E3 like they did Splatoon. (They did show a lot last E3 too).
Devil 3rd's Dev, Valhalla, said
that they trust Nintendo's upcoming marketing for the game.
And they also hinted at a new graphical and gameplay overhaul (to show come E3).
SO,
I am Excited.
I hope all other gamers check this out too.
