Well what else can Capcom do? They work their employees so hard some have been hospitalized. Most of their talent jumped shipped long ago, the only reason they still have Ono is because of his passion and dedication to the Street Fighter brand and fighting games in general.

nothing wrong with this kind of remasters, Resident Evil Zero has never been available on non-Nintendo platforms so non Nintendo gamers will now have their first chance to play it, DMC 4 special edition actually has lots of extra content people are excited for, the Mega Man NES games are available on Nintendo's VC but the collection will bring them to non Nintendo gamers... don't see what's the problem

There's nothing wrong with remasters as long as they aren't keeping devs from making new games. Which they aren't. Most devs push these remasters out to 3rd parties to make. I can't think of any remaster to come out where there wasn't a new installment of the series in the works also.

I fail to see the problem. If a remaster comes out that u dont want it, then dont buy it. Doesn't mean other people dont want it, which they obviously do. Remasters wouldn't get made if there wasn't a demand for them.

It was the original 6 NES games coupled with 7 & 8 all of which had been faithfully ported with progressive scan compatibility as well as extra content.

Well hopefully those remasters aren't $60 new, $40 maybe, I am not interested in any of them anyways, but people shouldn't have to pay full price for previous gen games. The only way I see remasters being worth the money is a reduced price for single titles or multiple titles in a collection.

Pretty much. If they were going to bring Mega Man to next-gen, why didn't they just remaster ALL the games including the X and Legend series. They should throw in Tron Bonne as a bonus. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I won't waste my money on this MegaMan collection, because I already have it for my PS2. I have the X series for my Gamecube. I do want Resident Evil 0 though, cause I never got it for my Gamecube.

This list is just the official stuff that will be shown on the floor by Capcom's brand, but there is also the Capcom Online Games brand which is kinda like its own company. Likely Deep Down, Dragon's Dogma Online, and a few other things are tied under that label.

Which they have yet to reveal anything for E3 yet. They did say they had a big reveal for Deep Down sometime this year. E3 is the best place for that.

Thank you for the remasters Capcom. I'm glad that you all are rerelasing games, so people that were never exposed to them get to play them. Thank you for Resident Evil 0 instead of making another garbage RE title like 6, because idiots who watch the movies think the games should be like that.

Thanks for Mega Man Collection and Devil May Cry 4 special edition, I never really played Mega Man so it will be good to have on the 3DS, and DMC4 was missing Vergil from the start.

For all those people on this site complaning that "LOL CAPCOM JUST DOES REMASTERS" I'm sure you were the same people crying on and on about how you want Resident Evil 2 HD, which is one of the worst RE games in the series and is only liked for the same reason as FF7. Nostalgia. At least Capcom is upgrading their older titles that people already like, and are releasing them for a cheaper price than the original game.

I just find it so funny that if Naughty Dog does it, it's okay. If Sony does it with God Of War, it's okay. If another company other than those two do it, it's a travesty.

I don't think the remasters are the problem, but the missing focus on new content. A trend for the whole industry, since this gens hardware released. It's economically understandable, but also a bit lazy imo.

I understand that Capcom is missing focus on new content, but you also have to understand they are pretty broke as well. That is the only time I will justify a remaster. Today games take about the same amount of money to make (AAA) as an action movie (200M+), and they lost a lot of money throwing into RE6, and a few other games.

They said they wanted to make remasters for RE to see if the real fans still wanted the games to have survival horror themes & mechanics or not. RE HD did really well for Digital Download,

I'm not quite sure how Revelations 2 did though. It doesn't cost them a pretty penny to make these remasters for the RE games, so I imagine they are using these more as a kickstarter so they can back the next big main game or IP effort.

It's just that a lot of people think they are just going to pull all this money out their bottom like they are Activision or something and produce some new AAA game or IP with being close to bankrupt.

It's not good that the majority of gamers still won't decide what to buy for themselves so they rely on all these less than reputable review sites to dictate their purchases.

The average person doesn't do their own research or buy what they like unfortunately. The reason I bring that up, is because since the masses only buy what the review sites rate high or only buy "platinum game of the month gameinformer" games, they are hurting gaming companies in the process and are making them closer to becoming a memory.

They are mad at this whole "instead of" when if they actually learned that its not the same team or that porting isn't creating or done "instead of" making new games.

As Naughty Dog is making Uncharted 4, Capcom has a team making Resident Evil 7, MS has a team making the next Gears of war etc.

Having a team contracted out to port on any system has nothing to do with making newer games as those teams would never be making "newer games" they where contracted to port.

Even the damn games that are getting ported already have sequels in productions being made currently.

Halo MCC, Halo 5, Tomb Raider Definitive collection by UNITED FRONTS..., Crystal Dynamics making next gen Tomb Raider, Capcom porting RE2002 and Zero, are making Revelations 2 and Re7, God Of War 3 being ported, Sony Santa Monica confirmed to be working on 5th console God Of War. Other Ocean made SF4 on PS4, CAPCOM is making SFV on PS4 and PC.

I'm sorry but where did come up with um...the "whole industry"? Are you sure about that? Lazy? Those teams had a job to PORT NOT MAKE A NEW GAME. They where NEVER hired to MAKE a game, they where hired to PORT ONE, mind you..other better qualified teams are CREATING games as we speak.

To be "lazy" it to not be making SFV, Dragons Dogma, Deep Down, RE7 etc. Did we not get MvC2 ported last gen? Did we not get SFII HD remix last gen? ...we also got IV, we also got MvC3. I'm sorry but having a team port, is not the same as creating a game from the ground up and no evidence shows that they have no games planned (IN FAVOR) of just doing ports. If that was the case, we wouldn't have them making a new engine or making new games etc.

But you have to admit that there is a trend to ports and remasters lately, in parts due to the missing backwards compatibiliy of PS4 and X1. I also don't think remasters are a bad idea: fairly priced and well made they are an enrichment to modern gaming culture. But it comes across, as if the effort and money put into these takes away from creative and riskier investments. And if they are meant to be a filler until the (often delayed) and exspected "next gen" AAA titles arrive. Economically understandable as I allready stated.

Seriously!? Megaman Legacy Collection. I'm guessing its a digital only release, but even so for them to only include the six NES titles from the original series is pathetic.

With the size of digital titles today and the capabilities companies now have with file compression there is no excuse for them to not have Megaman 7, Megaman 8, and even Megaman & Bass in this set.

Sure if this does well they will probably tease a release for an X Collection but what will that have, only X1-3? Considering the drought Megaman fans have had to put up with I at least expected they would opt for a full collection for all the current systems, combining the two older ones and adding in some of the games they missed. But noooo...ugh.

Well, i can see 3 possible outcomes:
1) SFV is so huge that you need the whole event (nonsens, but...) and you fill the dead times with remasters and old "faithful" collections
2) There are surprises and they're managing to keep them without leaks and so
3) Capcom is going to be one of the most boring companies of E3
