Splatoon Review | BlazeKick

Splatoon is a really fun game. Unfortunately due to the low amount of content (including a decent way to play with friends), Splat Zones having no friend play and promoting terrible play styles, and music repeating too often I'm going to have to rate it on it's launch week. While I do like the constant free updating strategy, Hyrule Warriors did that too (mixed in with paid DLC) and it still felt worth the asking price at launch. Splatoon doesn't. I'm sure once a few months have past and we've got the updates we know about (hopefully quicker than the Smash updates) it will be a much better product but currently I'd say just wait.
