This week's EDGE review scores include The Witcher 3, Project CARS, and more.
"The Paris-based (France) indie games publisher and developer COVEN, are today super thrilled and happy to announce that their surreal hand-drawn 2D physics-based adventure/puzzle game "Micromega", is soon coming to PC via Steam." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Days Gone Remastered is now available, and if you’re looking to find out how it compares with the original PS4 version, read ahead.
Huge difference i must admit, but not sure i would notice without 2 screens next to each other.
Not getting this game still, i want a new game and im tired of remasters
I spoiled myself by modding this game on my PC. Genuinely one of the best looking games I've ever seen. Whilst this remaster looks nice it just doesn't compare to that sadly. It shows the effort that these remasters could put in if they wanted
I so hope this game or DLC for those of us who own the original sells well.
Ive said it before, its an underrated game for sure & was unfairly judged upon release.
Please try this game if you haven't already.
For those who say 'i won't purchase digital only' you can pickup a hard copy for 5 bucks here in Australia, then add the DLC and you have a superb game for $20 or so.
Give it a shot, tell me I'm wrong After completing the game.
Game on gamers.
WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "Steel Seed has everything that I love: explosive set pieces, stealth-focused gameplay and souls-like combat. Unfortunately, none of these elements work together here. Each part felt undercooked for an experience that I cannot recommend to anyone. Despite this, there’s a lot of potential there for something greater, and I hope we get to see a more focused game next."
I used to (generally) agree with EDGE reviews and scores.
Now, I disagree with most their reviews. For me EDGE's credibility went down the toilet. Mehhh EDGE... go away.
Before I played Witcher 3, when I saw some 8 and 8.5 scores I said that every one entitled to their own opinions, but after I played it I think now that anyone who is giving this game less than a 9 is trolling.
Im an RPG fan and Thats my favourite genre, I bought Witcher 3 day 1. One of my most anticipated games of the year alongside Bloodborne.
But man, the game has HORRIBLE controls.
Geralt is so Damn stiff, and the combat is even stiffer, it even has a little inputlag in it.
I don't get why all of the reviewers has praised the controlls and the combat system. Are they biased or blind or did I get a totally different Witcher game then everybody else?
I've been playing videogames since the mid 80s, I never have a problem to adapt to a certain controlscheme, but this game has one of the worst controlls I've played in a loooooong While. It's not that it's difficult. It's just that Geralt is stiffer then a fried fish on a stick, and that puts me really of, it's 2015 and not 1995.
For me. Gameplay and controlls is the most important thing in gaming, if the controlls are waaaaaaayyy off, then automatically the game gets boring to me.
The game has quality, no doubt about that, a beautiful world with Loads to do, it's a Damn shame they forgot about the controll scheme. It would've been an amazing game otherwise :-(
I like Edge, great articles and don't have an agenda against gaming like some sites around.
On the mark! For me Edge and Gamekult its were i find the most unbias reviews,i dont always agree with them, but they sure know how to do reviews.
