Developers have been getting some serious shit lately, a lot of it well deserved. EA did not get awarded two years as the Worst company in the US for nothing. Rockstar have shot a lot of good PC gamers in the foot with their latest Anti-Mod Eula changes. Ubisoft have often pissed off gamers with horrible DRM or huge in-game issues and many others have screwed gamers over the years.
Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios is officially working on two games at the same time to become a more efficient company.
Larian Studios' fantasy epic was already a landmark title when it launched in 2023, winning over critics and fans alike with its depth, and storytelling. Now they are celebrating a new milestone as their video game Baldur's Gate has reached a new player count peak following Patch 8 release.

I played the Ultimas on PC many years ago I believe 7 was the last one I played. Hopefully they bring it back - single player though, not online.
