This game looks incredible on all 3 platforms, cannot wait for my download to finish

Christopher3635d ago

Nah. PC>>>PS4>XBO.

The differences between PC and the consoles is easy to see. Not so much with PS4 vs XBO.

NuggetsOfGod3635d ago (Edited 3635d ago )

Nahh my 2013 pc >>> your 2015 pc >> ps4 > bone
http://a.disquscdn.com/uplo...

What say u now?

2015 peasant!

/s

Cyberpunk 2077 downgrade incoming.

And all the console gamers in 2018 will say "great job optimizing cdpr!! It looks the same as on a r9 790x with hbm & ddr4 ram in crossfire with dx12! Amazing! Ps4 is a beast. Pc master race? Xbox lol"

the ps4/xbone look nearly identical. the ps4 is barely a tad sharper. certainly not enough to claim some exaggerated distance between the two. Christopher hit the nail on the head.

the pc version is loads better than both of them. reflections, aliasing, texturing, atmospherics... even the color looks more real on pc.

super_bruno3635d ago

Yeah developer definitively went for parity on this game, they all look almost identical.

BallsEye3634d ago (Edited 3634d ago )

no. Look at performance

https://www.youtube.com/wat...

xbox goes up to 40 fps with average 35. Lowest registered was 25. PS4 goes down to 20 and never above 30 , average 25. That on top of texture problems (look at house at 1:52 in ps4 version) How is that better? Where did the clouds go in ps4 version for most of the video? This time, a rare ocasion, we see a multiplat game perform better on xbox one than ps4. You can't deny it.

The ps4 version is brilliant looking and runs brilliantly. Can't stop playing it.

Duke193635d ago

Im honestly surprised how well the Xbox One version holds it own. They did an awesome job.

A few scenes, specifically things at a distance sometimes appeared sharper on it than the PS4 version to me (I have always thought that jaggies can make certain things look sharper though). PS4 does seem to have the advantage in textures up close - nothing you would really ever notice outside of these comparisons.

Waiting for my damn PS4 copy in the mail right now - just want to play it/tired at looking at videos

Priestwithgun3635d ago

Same here :D waiting for my physical copy.
Seriously though, considering tht difference of cores is 50% I expected atleast 40% difference in both versions.

As for those saying resolution difference is 44% and thus power difference is 44% too,it doesn't work tht way:) . Coz there are a pot of processes tht gpu must carry out(also called effects) which consume same amount of resources regardless of resolution. Also all processes have fixed running costs which means those costs(in terms of power) have to be incurred regardless of resolution too. Think of it as production in factory, there are fixed costs of rent etc and the cost of production does not increase in a linear manner

Who cares what the game looks like really...the game is not broken and it takes 100 plus hrs to beat

This is a great month for me, I have almost bought Wild Hearts a ton of times and same for Cult of the Lamb.

Some really good variety here, and some serious playtime on offer here with all the RPG's. Good luck finishing all these games in a month heh.

Time Splitters is fantastic on the classic side, and glad to see they keep supporting PSVR2 with games

Really grateful I had the good sense to drop pay to play multi-player. It's a rip off.

Einhander1972260d ago

At least when you buy the basic PS+ tier you actually get new games often including AAA games.

This month PS+ got the Star Wars Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy's:: Security Breach, and Ender Lilies

Xbox hasn't gotten any new games for their basic tier since July and before that it was in August 2023. And if that wasn't bad enough the games they got were just recycled from game pass.

TheEroica259d ago

14 people downvoted and enjoy paying for something millions of pc gamers get for free. Lol.

seanpitt23260d ago (Edited 260d ago )

They could have included the dlc for the Witcher 3 game of the year addition geez..

How many times do they want to keep putting WD2 on

Einhander1972260d ago

PS+ 17 games this month unlike game pass which only offered 7 almost half of them I got years ago on PS+,.and the rest are indies from companies I haven't even heard of.

And the Sony Pictures movie collection will probably get updated with new movies and shows from Crunchy Roll too.

Not bad for a subscription that costs significantly less game pass even before they raised the prices.

crazyCoconuts260d ago

Still not as good as it was a year ago. I think they're walking back on the quality of games just like XBGP is. It's a good thing though...ppl gotta start buying games again.

darthv72260d ago

For me, the redeeming titles are the Time Splitters ones. Sadly i do not subscribe to premium, only extra.

VersusDMC260d ago

Well you can still buy them. PS2 titles range from 5 (the clone wars) to 20 (tomb raider legend). So it may be a good price.

Becuzisaid260d ago

I'd bet these are in the expensive side. People have been wanting some kind of timesplitters remaster for a long time now.

pwnmaster3000260d ago

I thought it was a pretty good month, then I saw time splitter. It made it so much better. I always wanted to play this game but never did

Deeeeznuuuts260d ago

Not the best month for me other than timesplitters!! Can't wait to replay them again, be nice if they have trophies too but no danger of they don't, can't wait!
