RBI Baseball 2015 Review: More Minor Than Major

IRB Gamer: “Take me out to the ball game but feel free to leave the peanuts and crackerjacks at the concession stand. We’re looking to hit the plate and swing a ball of two out of the park.  No it’s not MLB: The Show, but all of your favorite teams are here. Welcome to RBI Baseball 2015."

When a decent game gets a bad grade: RBI Baseball 15

"I just recently received a code for R.B.I. Baseball 15 on Xbox One. The game is not great, but it definitely deserves better than the current mid 50s score it has on Metacritic. Big sites like IGN and Gamespot have given R.B.I. Baseball 15 a near failing grade, citing that MLB The Show is a much better baseball experience.

Frankly, comments like that get me a bit upset, because a comment like that assumes players have access to a PS4. Some of us don't, and I fall into that camp. It should be mentioned that I'm a casual baseball fan at best; in fact, I watch the highlights on Sports Centre, and cannot be bothered to actually sit through a game. However, I like baseball video games. Let me rephrase that: I like ARCADE baseball video games."

RBI Baseball 2015 review for Xbox One, PS4 | Gaming Age

GA:
I hate to engage in console warrior-type behavior, but I feel compelled to make an exception for RBI Baseball 2015. It is so terrible, so abominably bad in every way imaginable, that I have to say that if you're a baseball fan who only owns an Xbox One, you owe it to yourself to immediately go trade in your console and get a PS4, just so you can buy MLB 15: The Show with it and get a worthwhile baseball experience.

Hate: I love how all of the GenText idiots defend a Japanese Company and their shitty business practices and blast An American company for the same thing.... For all you kids that don't know any better the Show is a Direct Rip off of EA Sports MLB that they stopped making because it didn't sell enough to justify continuing to make it....

You do realize that the RBI series started in 1986 and the EA sports triple play / MVP series started in 1997? So if anything, EA sports was ripping off the RBI series.

The Show series is just a successor of the 989 MLB series that started up in 1999 and went till 2005. The Show continued on from 2006 till today.

Also, the MVP series stopped was because Take-Two Interactive had a licensing deal with MLB (for multiplat games, just like EA has done with the NFL) that went from 2005 to 2012. Blame EA for not continuing the series when the deal ended.

Rather plug in an Xbox and play high instead of this thrash .
