Glowing review for Klei Entertainment's new turn-based strategy/stealth game, INVISIBLE, INC.
The upcoming mobile game Don't Starve: Newhome just got a new animated story trailer and things don't look good for Wilson... or anyone else stuck in the Constant.
Chinese gaming conglomerate Tencent has acquired a majority stake in Klei Entertainment, the developer of Don't Starve, Oxygen Not Included, and Griftlands.
Can they just...stop gobbling up everything? This is such a great indie studio. I'm not a fan of Tencent having a majority stake in them. Companies like Riot, whatever. But smaller quality devs? Quit it, Tencent!
how about we stop letting chinese companies with ccp handlers buy any stake in any western company.
It was fun to play Don't starve together while it lasted. I guess I won't play anymore
What this all amounts to is a brilliant little tactics game, right up there with Into the Breach and XCOM – if not even better. The bite-sized structure belies a deceptively complex and meaningful game, where all your decisions ultimately mean something significant for that final desperate attack. If you enjoy stealth or tactics games – or you're simply looking for a way into either genre – then Invisible, Inc. deserves your attention.
