The Season 4 finale of Once Upon a Time relished in the lighthearted aspects of telling a story set in a fairy tale world while also hitting some emotional notes and developing characters in new ways. They also took a bold step forward by turning The Savior into the Dark One. The inventive twist opens the door to so many opportunities, and it's heartening to see the series continuing to change the game.
