Digital Foundry on The Wind Waker's HD treatment, and which other GameCube classics could follow suit.
After 22 years, the GameCube's classic futuristic racer F-Zero GX is finally getting a modern re-release on Nintendo Switch 2.
I guess if this is the only way to get a F-Zero game on the Switch 2... thanks Nintendo.
Difficult games on the Gamecube? Who would have thought there would be any on this platform. Here are the most difficult Gamecube games ever.
F-Zero 99 is a fantastic new way to play the franchise, but it falls far short of a new game built for modern hardware.
I would have loved a F-Zero GX remake, not remaster, or a brand new F-Zero game.😞
Was Tetris 99 a new game built for modern hardware? What about Mario 99?
Does this person not know that Fzero 99 is built on the SNES title? Were they actually expecting a brand new Fzero game? hahahahaha
Also, what's with all of the spammy ass tags?
The Wind Waker HD, is fantastic looking. There are a few other games I would like to see get the same treatment. The WWHD was more than just a remake, It improved the game.
Sailing was even made fun, and the lighting and weather effects while sailing are beautifully done.
A Twilight Princess remake would look amazing on Wii U. It's graphics and textures fit perfectly for a HD upgrade.
I am impressed by how much better Rez looks on Dreamcast over ps2.
Path of Radiance would be a nice addition considering the rarity of the game. Could even combine it with Radiant Dawn for 1 nice HD compilation. Not that HD would help really but the rarity of both and the added popularity of FE after Awakening may help sell the games
For me hands down would love a Super Mario Sunshine HD. The colors are pretty much popping off the screen on the Gamecube but then you give it the HD treatment and then WOW.
A couple more Nintendo games I would love to see on the Wii U with HD upgrades would be Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance.
