Madden NFL 16 To Feature New Controls

Madden School writes, Multiple retail websites including GameStop and Amazon have confirmed that Madden NFL 16 will feature all-new controls in the passing game. EA Sports focused on making defense better in Madden 15 but it looks like Madden 16 will be all about offense.

Why not recreate a whole new engine? All it has been are "tossed in" gameplay mechnaics with the gamepaly overall still functioning with arcadish mechanics. UI is still too clunky and is over done with it's graphics design. I find Fifa's UI much better, only offering you the information you need and allowing you to access games and features quickly. They're trying so hard to mimick the NFL's graphics design. The only thing going for Madden so far is the brand and EA's hold on the NFL licencse.

Here's the thing... the reality is the Joe Montana game could be the greatest pure football game ever and it will still flop. Don't undermine the importance of the NFL license. Plus it being an XB1 exclusive, it has an uphill battle from day one.

I don't think so. I know the NFL 2k community is still strong and given how fed-up people are with Madden, Joe Montana Football could definitely put up some okay numbers its first year as a breath of fresh air.

Madden needs a new everything. Look I love football games but yearly improvements is not enough.

What happen to the ps1 to ps2 jump?

Madden for the ps2 was on a another level,the feel the graphics,well 2k on dreamcast was sweet too but now it just feels like ports from the ps3.

I really hope MS makes a new football game I will support day one just because.

If the montana game is real and is exclusive to x1 and is an amazing game then I may need to get an x1 for its release...If for no other reason then to make ea realize they suck at footbal.

Oh and has the nfl teams and players license.

Ea should stop the annual release cycle and instead release an expansion of sorts in the odd years for $20-30$. The loading needs to go away.

Bruh, Madden is not respectable to any football fan. It's suppose to be a football simulation and so far this shit hasn't lived up to it. How tf can you not include basic penalties like defensive holding, and neutral zone infraction? Honestly I'm pissed cause it's my only damn option when it comes to football games; 2k5 was great for its time, but it's only so much you can take before you want to use your new hardware man. EA makes damn good money off us, when are they going to invest it in us? There are so many negative things I can say about Madden, but people who follow the franchise already know that can get pretty long. I'm hopeful though... I'm spending $60 bucks in August to be hopeful, what a time to be a Madden fan.

It's sad but madden can actually release the same game with a new roster and people will buy it and go wow! This is waaay better than last year's game.
