KrisWB from ThisisXbox writes 'Being what I would call a typical MMORPG, there is an awful lot to cover in a review so I’ll be breaking our review down into three parts. The first, the one you are reading, will look at the setting, races, classes and in-game currency model. The second and third parts of the review will look at some of the more in-depth game play mechanics including the detailed profession and crafting system, the economy including the Auction House and various currencies (excluding Zen) and banking. We’ll also take a look at Guilds, Skirmishes, Dungeons and much more. These will all be released over the next few days.'
"Cryptic Studios and Gearbox Publishing are today very happy and excited to announce that "Neverwinter: Menzoberranzan" (Neverwinter’s 25th module) is now available for PC (via Steam), Xbox (via the Microsoft, and Playstation via digital stores (as announced at Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons Direct 2023 showcase)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
It's for that online game, correct? I always wanted to see the drows home from Drizzt's books, I've read those years ago, but I never could fully imagine it from text alone. Looks a bit bright compared to what I remember how it was described, but I'm guessing that's for gameplay reasons.
Neil writes: "Are you ready to hunt the most epic of dragons? Neverwinter's latest module will have you doing just that."
Big news for fans here. Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios are excited to announce that Dragonslayer, the 23rd module for Neverwinter, will launch on PC (Arc Games, Epic Games Store and Steam), Xbox and PlayStation on June 14.
To think I almost didn't go back to this game. No I can't get enough, LOL.
There were too many people on the servers over the weekend though. Hope thy address that ASAP. I was playing so long I forgot to eat.
Anyway. Nice pickup for X1 and I think the developer will be shocked at how much money Xbox community will willingly and knowingly contribute. I see people on exotic mounts all over the place. Just glad the game wouldn't let them run me over.
For my first MMO this has been a great experience. Now I am super excited to play ESO on X1. Funny thing is, I can't see myself play NW with Mouse and Keyboard. There is just too much running around and movement while fighting for that play style to work for me. But that's just me.
Any way: great game!

I've gotta give this a try once it's released on XBox One.
Its addictive, thats for sure :) . yesterday me and my friends realised how much time we spend buying and trading in this game. I keep working on my leadership and weaponsmithing proffesions like crazy too.
My friends all picked different characters to me. I went with the archer, because he has good ranged attacks mixed with the close quarter dual wielding. Its a good playstyle for me. One of my boys is the wizard with the floating orb, so he got AOE attacks on lockdown. Sucks when the framerate gets bogged down but it doesnt stop the game from being addictive fun. Cant wait for ESO and others like this to hit X1. This game has slowed down my borderland play through. lucky for me, my three border buddies are also amongst the guys who I play neverwinter with, so they cant level up ahead of me on that game.
online co op is the shiznit. always has been.
Maldives, dam shame quote me and yet you seems to have amnesia...my three border buddies are also amongst the guys who I play neverwinter with, so they cant level up ahead of me on that game.
