Sales stats? Is that what everyone /really/ wants at E3? A fanboy circle-jerk? Console news is good, but that should usually translate to consumer-oriented features or functionality, not "how much money Sony has made off of you" or whatever...
I think that Sony should take a note out of the other publisher's books on this one. EA and Ubisoft (and yes, thanks to Spencer, this list now includes Microsoft) focus on the software aspect of their relationship with the consumer.
Sales info is always interesting - otherwise why would we all freak out about NPD numbers every month - but I want someone to get on stage and tell me what games I can look forward to, rather than someone get on stage and tell me how much money they've made off of me.
Just my opinion. I don't have stock in any of these companies, so their bottom line isn't my chief concern. (Though I won't deny that it interests me. Having a War Chest allows for many different possibilities/partnerships in the future, and that's really the only reason I can care.)
Oh, I'm not saying that's what people want or anything. It's just something Sony does every year, so it's not a prediction so much as its a guarantee. As long as they just mention it and move on its all good.
Horizon by Guerilla Games the first Sony developed WRPG. Next game by David Cage(might save that for Gamescom) Uncharted collection by Bluepoint games MGSV special edition console with the game Battlefront PS4 bundle Media Molecule's morpheus game God of War IV debut trailer The Last Guardian Bunch of other morpheus games by third party partners. Level 5 exclusive PS4 rpg
I dont see starwars happening as its EA and they will do what benefits EA access. I do expect an X1 bundle based on SW:BF, though, as it ties neatly back into EA access.
I dont see last guardian getting a mention. But I think we will see the other stuff on your list. The MSG limited edition bundle will probably become something of a collectors item as it will be the last time that MGS is associated with Kojima productions..even though konami are trying to wipe all that out, gamers know wassup. That bundle will be scalped by Ebay poachers selling it for a premium.
Some pretty big insiders have said Sony has the co marketing deal for Battlefront which would not be surprising when Disney is buddy buddy with Sony plus they have double the market share of the XB1. Starwars is a worldwide franchise, PS4 is the only console doing well worldwide.
A man would make one little correction. QD will probably just debut B2S Director's Cut. 1080p, 60fps, and chronological story mode (PLEASE ALL A MAN WANTS IS THIS!) maybe both with a quick title tease for the new title and then "while you wait" they announce the remaster.
A man would also hope for a new Ratchet and Clank trailer for the game or movie.
the only thing i disagree with is that sony is going to try to launch morpheus with only one big first party game , morpheus is very important for sony (not just games division , hardware and movies as well) and they need to have some killer apps that early adopters will show around . they probably need at least 3 first party launch games .
I would love to see a new Bloody Roar game..for the Xbox One also.
But seriously, such a great underrated fighting game. The last entry I believe was on the Gamecube and it was actually pretty good even with that horrible controller.
I would love for that IP to go to Platinum or Namco.
No mans sky is Project Morpheus compatible
The last guardian trailer is shown
Sales stats will be shared :)
