Here's a remaster for those who feel ''Betrayed'' becuse of BloodBorne.

Everybody wins!

mikeslemonade3699d ago

Lame.. should have included DS1 in it. What's the deal with developers only including one game. DmC and DMC4 should be together. And God of War 3 by itself!?

pyroxxx3700d ago (Edited 3700d ago )

Good,..It is not like that was not expected,.. Since Bloodborne has more assets in a room than DKS2 has in entire levels,..it is flat and empty as all hell (some places better then the others though)

Still wish they remastered DKS1 or DES,.. they are better designed,.. I actually like DKS2,.. I think it is wonderful but was a bit rushed,.. DLC was great though

Hellsvacancy3699d ago

I've not played the dlc yet, i'm looking forward to it

I KNEW DS2 would get a remaster, hence why I held off buying any dlc

Have to agree, my GOTY but it wasnt perfect. Some of the areas just felt washed out and bland.

spacedelete3699d ago

should have at least thrown in Dark Souls 1. too many greedy devs charging near full price for 1 remaster.

MasterCornholio3699d ago

It comes with all the DLC and its only 40€ here.

Not a bad deal at all especially for a game that will last 40 hours.

BartMoons3699d ago

Not a bad deal at all, expected a larger file size due to all the content though.

Master-H3699d ago

For most remasters I'd agree with you, but this one comes with double the frame rate/resolution, and with 3 full, amazing DLCs that cost at least 30$ on their own, plus some tweaks in the ai, gameplay, enemy/item placement, lighting system etc, plus the game isn't that old. It's about a year old that's it.

Personally, I find it to be worth the money even without DS1 included. I'm planning on grabbing it once I get burned out on Bloodborne, since I sold my ps3 copy a while ago, and didn't get the DLCs, and some of the trophies.

theshredded3699d ago (Edited 3699d ago )

haha don't make me chuckle, unlike ALL the other remasters except the recent borderlands one it comes with meaty dlc not some pathetic dlc which justify it's price

Will get it as soon as there's a drop in price,Bloodborne will do fine for now.1 more day!

King_of_Nothing3699d ago

I'm really looking forward to this. I didn't get the chance to play DS2 due to the release date and having already traded my ps3 toward a ps4. I'm going to be set for quite awhile with the DS2 remaster and Bloodborne.

I'm a bit apprehensive about DS2 though, I'm hoping the complaints I've read have been exaggerated and the game is a worthwhile play through.

Dark Souls 2 is a fantastic game. Don't let these "purists" tell you otherwise.

Yes, it's not quite as good as DS and DS1 but still is great. My only big knock is too many Knight-type bosses.

Also, this game is running in 60FPS for PS4 and once you play with that, you will never wanna go back. Bloodborne, while pretty good so far, already has a rough time in that aspect.

Into the Abyss: Exploring My Love/Hate Relationship with Dark Souls II

VGChartz's Issa Maki: "I want to appreciate Dark Souls II on the same level as its predecessor, Demon's Souls, or Bloodborne. Yet every time I open myself up to the possibility, my hopes are dashed by small design quirks that eventually add up to a sum of infuriating disappointment. How can a game that improves on the past in so many intriguing ways be held back by issues that never previously existed? Why does Dark Souls II seem to sabotage any sense of enjoyment it creates, just out of sheer spite against the player? Was this conduct on behalf of the developers justifiable in some way – and possibly even necessary? Prepare to quaff some Estus and burn an effigy or two in our likenesses, for we journey once again to the land of Drangleic."
