A new Trailer and release date has been revealed by Telltale Games for Game of Thrones Episode 3
In this episode of Checkpoint Presents Doug and Carbine talk all about the third episode of Telltale's Game of thrones. They discuss in detail why they made what choices they made, as well as where they think the series is going.
After a competent but somewhat underwhelming second episode, The Sword in the Darkness picks up the pace immediately, raising the stakes and bringing with it some wonderful storytelling moments and plot developments that should help calm any fears that Telltale Games is playing it safe. Rest assured, if you’re a fan of the hugely popular HBO television show of the same name and you’ve been as of yet undecided whether to start playing – it’s time to pick up that gamepad.

Choice. Or at least the illusion of choice. That’s the core gameplay element of the episodic adventure games by Telltale Games. Great storytelling and strong characters make up the rest of the experience. Both seasons of their Walking Dead series featured dozens of great characters and tons of choices along the way. The story pretty much got to the same point by the end, but what was really interesting were those “important” moments, the ones that you worried about making the wrong decision. One of the coolest features of the series is the recap at the end of the episode that showed what you chose for a handful of key decisions and compared it to others who also played the episode.
