Ascent is a sci-fi sandbox designed primarily around choice, and the options available to players are nearly limitless. Trading, fighting, colonizing, mining, bounty hunting or just plain sight-seeing are all promised features for Ascent. One would think that with all of these options, the game couldn’t help but be amazing, right? Right?
