CCP Games Announces ‘VR Labs’ Teams
VRFocus- For the past few weeks EVE Online developer CCP Games has been teasing expanding work in virtual reality (VR) technology. The team is of course already working on anticipated VR multiplayer space combat title, EVE: Valkyrie, but has also been showing individuals mysterious VR tech demos and even projects for the Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD). Today at the studio’s annual EVE Fanfest even in Reykjavik, Iceland, the company announced that it has formed a set of teams known as ‘VR Labs’, dedicated to experimenting with VR.
