PCgamer:
"Got some spare cash burning a sizable hole in your pocket? That's lucky, because Nvidia's latest supercomputer graphics card has just arrived. This time, it's got an X tacked onto to the end. You know. For extreme."
Between the price, performance and power draw, with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, NVIDIA nailed the mainstream formula.
Nvidia writes:
The Nintendo Switch 2 takes performance to the next level, powered by a custom NVIDIA processor featuring an NVIDIA GPU with dedicated RT Cores and Tensor Cores for stunning visuals and AI-driven enhancements.
The raytracing probably doesn't even equal a low end PC GPU, even if it did it would probably be mostly useless. They'll probably force it in some game now that will run like shit maybe 30fps at best, just because "it can do it"
Please. I'd like to play my switch games on my 4k tv without it looking all doodoo.
Nvidia could have said this months ago and cut the bullshit. Anyway the rumors were true.
I'm not expecting of anything from ray tracing but dlss will be the thing that sees the unit get some impossible ports.
The launch of the Radeon RX 9070 series comes at a pivotal moment for AMD. Following RDNA 3’s underwhelming performance, the RDNA 4 lineup carries the hopes of mainstream PC gamers. NVIDIA’s RTX 40 and 50 series pricing highlights the consequences of a near-monopoly, making AMD’s return to competitiveness critical.
Sounds great but I still want to wait it out for more options to become available for 4k60fps. Still arent that many monitors with 4k, 120+ fps, G sync and an IPS screen and games are just starting to offer support for it. Maybe next year things will change with Intel's Skylake, DX 12 and more new tech on its way.
For the price just buy a AR-15 or Ak 47 & a nice aimpoint or eotech for the same price. Or buy you a acog for the price cant spend this much on games when i wont use the power. My dual r9 280x cards arent being pushed right now, no reason for it but to show off lol.
