Not necessarily a ‘horror’ moment, but I remember feeling really tense and anxious when the Flood were first introduced in the original Halo. I never felt more on edge or nervous in that whole game as that moment. I think it was the whole buildup that something terrible was coming but you didn’t know exactly what.
Another non-horror game that had me feeling it was Subnautica. The deep dark depths, and knowing that sea monsters were lurking nearby, had me jumping at every sound.

When emulation can be born of no tricks on the side, only then will it be something of merit. Now, with Swap and Linux it's just same ol' same ol' stuff.
The day we can go into the browser of our PS3's, DL some made for PS3 OS emulator and then apply Roms to it onto our XMB's or even back up media, yeah, that'll be something.
Right now, it's just a big ol' yawn and hassle but more than that just pointless and unconventional. Hell, what am I talking about, stealing games iss unconventional to begin with.

I'd rather just play games that are ment for the console like uncharted and metal gear solid and if I wanted to play a SNES or genesis that bad I go into my attic and get them down. lol
