Taking the stage as the “most anticipated Vita game of the year”, is DrinkBox Studios’ new indie title, Severed. With such games as Mutant Blobs Attack!!! and Guacamelee under their belt, DrinkBox has slowly, but surely, become a head studio in the indie gaming scene. Each game possessing it’s own unique themes along with flashy new takes on traditional gameplay, DrinkBox has yet to fail when it comes to delivering pure quality to their players, title after title.
"When PlayStation Vita released in 2012, expectations were high as Sony's previous handheld (PSP) was quite successful even if it could never quite match with Nintendo's handheld juggernauts." - Tyler Hall from Video Chums
It’s not stranded until 2019, if people really wanted to get some great experiences out the way then they’d buy it. But there are so many stubborn people that made their mind up that won’t happen.
You can go on eBay, OfferUp it any social market place and get one from 70-120 WITH memory card and the games are dirt cheap. But I bet people feel like buying their 5th 3DS for 200 plus because of its color is better then checking out great games.
I guess it’s not always about the games

DrinkBox Studios is one of my favorite smaller development teams. They have a knack for merging cool gameplay mechanics with bright, colorful visuals that I happily spend hours with at a time. Severed is no different - in fact it may be their best overall effort yet. While it is true that this title has seen some prior releases, it plays better on the Switch than any of its prior platforms.
With DrinkBox at the helm, I'm definitely going to be follow this game.
I'm a big fan of Drinkbox and will definitely be picking up this title later this year. It's very refreshing to finally see a game coming to the PS Vita.
Looks like a game with potential. I'll look out for it.
I love the look of Severed. The gameplay looks like something Id really want to spend a lot of time with on my Vita.
