Playfire: 'We're enormously excited about Keebles. The second game to come from the Green Man Loaded label, Burnt Fuse's inventive, vehicle-building puzzler is shaping up very nicely indeed, and will be playable on the show floor at EGX Rezzed!
We know that a bunch of you have been eager to know more about the game, so we sat down recently with the developers to talk about how the game came about, the range of vehicles players will be able to build, and what EGX Rezzed attendees can expect from the playable build that'll be at the show.'
Keebles is a Physics based game where you get to create vehicles and solve puzzles, coming from the indie studio Burnt Fuse. Your main goal to save a race of Small Fur Balls called Keebles (Not Critters,The Evil Alien Race of Fur Balls, Bent on total world Annihilation and food). Design and construct your vehicle to traverse the terrain and complete the stage, the term trial and error is the key to winning.
David Tierney writes: "For a fresh-faced player of Keebles, the feeling evoked is that of being Wiley Coyote, Dr. Robotnik, or some other wildly unsuccessful maniacal engineer. However, unlike those evil masterminds, the goal here is to construct vehicles in order to help a group of furry little creatures, known as Keebles, travel to a distant side of their land. There, the Whale at the End of the World will transport them to a place where their quest for mushrooms can continue."
"The idea of the game is to create a vehicle that will carry your ‘Bobble’ around the level, upon touching a Keeble it will jump aboard your vehicle, taking them to safety at the end of each level and in return you’ll earn a Star rating out of 5. This rating will depend on how many Keebles you rescue, time taken to do so and parts used to build the vehicle." - Blast Process
