ScreamRide review - It has its ups and downs - MMGN

MMGN writes: I’ve been screaming out (sorry) for a new rollercoaster game on consoles since the solid if a little hollow Thrillville series from the ‘00s. With Screamride, I expected something similar: an open-world theme-park manager, split between accessible mini-games and complex ‘coster design, of which creator Frontier Developments is renowned for. While Screamride shares DNA with Frontier’s other roller coaster creations, it’s by far the most unique title from the studio, taking a page out of the Trials handbook of meticulous level design. Don’t worry: there’s a very deep sandbox mode here. But Screamride is much more a game about high score leaderboards and community, which gives it a fresh, exhilarating twist.

Quite a big sale but not entirely convinced all are decent deals. Glad to see the 360 gets a few more offers this week. I wish Screamride was on sale by itself!

Gears Ultimate Day 1 Edition? I can understand picking up day 1 physical editions at later dates, that were stuck in the retail channel for whatever reason. Late "day 1" digital sales make no sense at all though.

State of Decay on Xbone is great.

This is the 5th or 6th time they've had Battlefront on "sale" in the last few months
Still overpriced imo
