WayForward Turns 25, Teases Incoming ‘Fun’
MNN:
WayForward turned 25 yesterday, March 1st. To celebrate being around for a quarter century, the Shantae developer is teasing some type of incoming “fun.” Founded in 1990, WayForward got its start in the SNES era of gaming. It has developed more than 200 titles and continues to support Nintendo systems with multiplatform games and exclusives alike. One of its latest releases, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, is available only on the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. WayForward creative director Matt Bozon recently attributed the studio’s success to longtime Nintendo fans.
