Three years after it came out in Japan, Square Enix will release Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII International as a value priced Ultimate Hits game on September 4. Don't get envious yet. Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII International is in actuality just the North America version of Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. When Square Enix localized the game Vincent learned how to run faster, got a limit break item to transform instead of using his MP, and had a number of post game Extra Missions. The catch was online play via PlayOnline found in the original Japanese release was removed from the game.
The hugely popular Final Fantasy 7 universe shows no signs of slowing its expansion, so here's all the spin-off games released so far.
Final Fantasy has a long running history with numerous numbered titles and spin-offs, but which games stand to benefit from a remake?
I'd rather the 13 trilogy just be ported tbh. No matter what you think if it, it shouldn't be the only numbered offline games not playable on new consoles. But naturally I'd play the **** out of 8-12 remakes.
Crisis Core received positive reception as the latest entry into the FFVII: Remake Universe, but it won't be complete until Dirge of Cerberus is remade.
I think most would welcome a remake - there's a lot to improve.
Also the Yuffie DLC shows it's characters are far from forgotten, and a big highlight to the whole 7R experience.
I never got a chance to play dirge of cerebus so if they remake it with better whatever I'll enjoy it I think
Eh, I mean yea, technically, but the story is so throw away. I guess mostly for Deep Dive, but Rebirth could tell more of Vincent’s backstory instead.
Cerberus ends on a cliffhanger so even with this remade the story wouldn’t be complete unless FF7 Remake somehow becomes a sequel to it and Genesis is in it.
i mite pick this up. personally i reali enjoyed this game, it wasnt much RPG but for the most part i thought what it did, it did well :-). In terms of shooting iv played much worse.
