11 3DS Exclusives That Make Vita Jealous

I don't most people understand many of Nintendo's games are indies, or atleast have the same retro somewhat simplistic design to them. I'm having a hard time deciding between the 2, I do want to play the pokemon games, but Vita has some games with great gameplay, actual stories, voiced dialogue, but fall short of that great open world experience, like Freedom Wars soul sacrifice delta, should be open like Monster hunter.. I dunno, I think both handhelds can offer more variety.

If someone was to make Kirby Rainbow curse, with a different name and Chracter, it would be an indie dev, not a AAA dev, same goes, for Zelda Wind Waker (Oceanhorn is like Wind Waker with voiced dialogue), Donkey Kong country TP, New Super Mario, Zelda Link between worlds, for many Nintendo games there's nothing too elaborate, that an indie dev can't do with a decent Kickstarter. I think Nintendo does this on purpose to have parity between their home and DS handhelds, honestly, that's part of the reason they keep their home Consoles so low power, for better port similarity.

Bravely Default, Shin Megami Tensei IV and Dragon Quest VII would be my reason to buy the 3DS. Two more as good reasons and I will buy it.

Bravely Default was the game I bought with my 3DSXL back when I got it.

I think it is wise to have several games you already know that you want before buying a gaming system. :)

Same here. I bought a Vita and later a Vita TV for Persona 4G, and Danganronpa, and just recently the New 3DS for Bravley Default and Fire Emblem. Don't regret any of my purchases.

Yes these I agree but doesn't matter to me since I have a Vita and beaten Gravity Rush and currently playing Persona 4 Golden planning to get others two.

Freedom Wars is very good but nothing really to be jealous of.
Killzone is good. Soul Sacrifice is repetitive.

you can create stuff, share, and play with others online also i'm not interested in nintendo platformers anymore sadly...

I got both of them, and I have to say that they're really good. They both have good games and hardware. Although if I had to pick one of them, I'd go with the Vita. (That's not to say that the 3DS is bad though.)

The Vita reminds me of the GameGear. GameGear did everything better than the GameBoy except for games. Vita is a joke in comparison to the 3DS. Which is flabbergasting after how great the PSP was. The Vita is just the PSPGo 2, the jest of its library is 90% digital-only games. If I was Sony I'd drop the cartridge slot and just make the vita an all-digital device.

Reasons why the 3ds is jealous of Vita: Persona 4 Golden, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Killzone Mercenary, Ys Memories of Celceta, Tearaway, Gravity Rush....the list goes on. The point being this list is stupid because both platforms have great games. No point in such click bait articles. One thing that the platform is lacking is support from both Sony and big name Third party developers.

I have a vita along with many of those games you listed and I would never be jealous of them if I didn't own a vita aside from like 1 or two. Face it, vita has some great games but compared to 3ds it's so insignificant

Agree with Kingdom Hearts for sure. Would have loved to see that on Vita, especially since the first two launched on PlayStation. Nintendo has had a strangle hold on Kingdom Hearts portable games.

I own both the Vita and the New 3DS. Sadly I very rarely use my vita. I mostly use it for PS1 classics now. After I got it I played everything that interested me. Since then(well over a year ago) I don't think I've even touched it.
But my 3DS gets used very regularly. Playing Zelda:MM now. And there is still games I need to go get.

Hopefully Sony actually starts supporting the Vita better. It's an amazing piece of hardware. The software is just very lacking.

I just realized something, The 3DS library is really not "better" than the PSvitas.

The quality of both libraries is debatable. Each console has significant merits over the other, the 3DS's advantage being it's steady stream of titles and developer support and the Vita's being its significant hardware advantage and localization support (keeping the Vita afloat btw).

Resident Evil Mercenaries 2 will be a prime opportunity to compare the capability of both consoles on a somewhat level playing field. I've always maintained that any title made on the 3DS would look/play much better on the Vita due to the drastic difference in hardware. I'm fairly certain Mercenaries 2 will showcase this difference.

If Sony was smart, they'd leave full blown AAA development at a minimum and focus efforts on attracting casual gamers. Like the ones who play annual sports games for example. By doing so, Sony should also be able to assist devs on the fence about Vita development with Vita versions of their projects. If Sony does this and reduces memory card prices, the Vita could be much more significant than it is today.

I just got a 3ds and am happy I got it with monster hunter 4:)
If fantasy star nova comes to the west that would convince me to pick my dusty vita back up again.
