The game is rad. Though it offers motion controls, people become so overwhelmed by them, that they over see that SFZ can actually be played like teaditional SF. I use the game Pad only for precision aiming, in full 360• . And its rad . SFZ 8.7/10
I agree, the controlls are complex and immersive. Satisfying when you master them, I believe many reviewers cant use them properly. Game deserves an solid 8
I know April is a slow month but I was still very surprised to see StarFox Zero in Top10 most sold games in US.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, upcoming Wii U title Star Fox Zero was reconfirmed for an April 22 release in North America, following rumors of a delay. Star Fox Zero was originally slated to release in November of 2015, but was delayed in order to afford the developers more time to polish the first new Star Fox game in nearly 10 years.

Pretty fait points. Though you can't crap on Nintendo for using the Metroid name for selling Federation when people are praising Far Cry Primal which is clearly using the Far Cry name to sell. As for Zelda U, this was clearly stated that this was summer releases and Zelda WiiU is going to be their Holiday Heavy Hitter all companies have (MS: Gears 4, Sony: Horizon) so it makes sense not to be here. Overall pretty good direct. Star Fox Guard may look like crap but it's a small minigame that comes free of charge with Zero so more content is always nice.

@deafdani, I count fifteen passive-aggressive or outright mocking statements. But, I also read 'big deal' as sarcasm, however, so maybe he did actually care about those items but he did a piß-poor job of explaining that if so.
tl;dr Guy should get better at writing a running commentary if he thinks his opinion is great enough to type the entire thing out and post it onto a news article.
Its not dismissive, its a running commentary, IE wrote as I was watching. The amount of information being shown in the direct was high,and it was moving fast,so obviously I couldn't expand on everything I wrote,I just gave bullet point opinions.

My over all end summary of the direct is positive, so what is your problem? what did you expect, me to blown away by absolutely everything?

Yeah after seeing the screen with the stages and sure I only counted around 11 hopefully a couple will unlock surely but yeah that alone and the water in the first section not ground breaking I know but enough for me to now be very happy to be grabbing this. Not sure about that collectors edition chucked in star fox guard which looks average at best but we'll see however they've given a steelbook but made Guard a download code... Just lame all round on the collectors edition I'll just stick with New Star Fox Zero for now thanks.

I lol'd at that Ridley intro screen for some reason. It would be hilarious to actually see that in the game.
Bayonetta would be really cool but the FF fanboy in me would love to see another FF character, someone like Cait Sith would be a perfect character for Smash.
I think Vivi would be perfect. He's pretty kid friendly and his magic would be really fun to use.

There was a mention recently of someone from the press getting to play an early build of the game.
During one sequence, they were able to go from Arwing to Land Master with a button press.
I would KILL to have levels that allow for multiple ways of playing through it via vehicle switching.
I want some space battles that aren't on-rails. No prob with some on-rails sections, just not the whole game.
