Marcus Estrada writes: "Berzerk Studio have been around the block a few times. Over the years they've released a great deal of games, and as such, have developed a bit of a following. Despite their regular work on new titles they actually had one "secret" title which never came out. This game is called Infernax and it was actually completed four years ago. So, where has the game been all this time? Despite Berzerk Studios doing their best to grab a publisher for it, none ever accepted due to the high level of 8-bit violence. It seems a bit silly in this day and age, but hey, developers have the right to be prudish."

"Since its release last year, Infernax has received two major updates, the most recent of which added 2-player local co-op! Very few games gain multiplayer modes after they come out, so we interviewed Mike Ducarme of Berzerk Studio about Infernax's unusual journey towards the land of co-op," says Co-Optimus.
I played Infernex on Game Pass and it was an absolute best to play. Not only is it a hilarious throwback to Castlevania but it has a bunch of other 8bit gaming tropes it parodies.
Not to mention is has multiple endings that are all so, so good. I definitely recommend people get this game.
