7 Terrible Parts That Almost Ruined Great Games

Sometimes great games have not-so-great parts that are frustrating, boring, or downright hair-pullingly bad. Here are 7 terrible parts that almost ruined great games.

The prison level in final fantasy 8. Almost ruined the game for me.

Atlantica wasn't that bad, although I was sort of shocked by how it was reduced to a rhythm game in KH2.

For me, I couldn't stand the gummi ship portion of both Kingdom Hearts games. I just wasn't good at those levels and I just couldn't wrap my head around the ship-building aspect of it. I got through them when I originally played them on PS2, but when I played the remasters recently I got my daughter to do those parts for me, lol.

i definitely agree with the gummi ships in the first one, i liked it better in the second one though, especially the creating of the ships
lots more options and much easier to build in general

The library from halo 1 or cortana from halo 3?

Ugh, I remember that colossus battle in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Weirdest, most poorly designed boss battle in an otherwise great game.

the fade in dragon age origins was pretty bad.

Maybe it is time to just let Goldeneye go. People keep e-begging for this game and it came back in various iterations; remastered and original and in the end it was just meh. The game was a product of its time like Perfect Dark and Timesplitters.

It's from a bygone era that was good at the time but is pants now. Same with turok.

NotoriousWhiz63d ago

Whoa whoa whoa. Turok still holds up great.

YourMommySpoils63d ago

Isn't that like considering every other game too.

P_Bomb63d ago

When in doubt, port it out.

jznrpg63d ago

The game was a lot of fun for its time but damn that was a long time ago.

There are better shooters now and better worlds.
