You’re Paying forThat Final Fantasy XV Demo

"I’m honestly surprised people have to even ask this. Isn’t it obvious? Square Enix is charging $60 because you’re paying some of that money for the Final Fantasy XV demo." -PSLS

To be honest. FF Type 0 is a great game. And while many is actually getting it for the demo, they will be surprised by how the great the game really is.

And paying for a demo is nothing new. People did that with Zone of The Enders for MGS2 demo and Crackdown for Halo 3 demo.

The two have become inseparable not only for the demo but also because i believe they are connected. Even if it called FFXV its still from the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga so i am pretty sure Class 0 and Lightning will be either there or at least mentioned.

I hope so!
I loved the PSP import. It deserves more attention.

vishmarx3453d ago (Edited 3453d ago )

trust me, it may not look as lavish as AAA games on ps4
its a fun jrpg thatll last you a 100hrs, plus you get the ff xv demo
the way i see it there are far worse games to spend $60 on.visuals aside youll definitely get your money's worth.
depends on how much you care about graphics though.
because if they matter more , then you may get evolve for $145

far as im concerned , id have got it for $60 even without the demo

Neonridr3453d ago

I was just about to say that many people bought Crackdown for the Halo 3 demo. You beat me too it. ;)

Crackdown turned out to be a pretty good game as well.

DarkOcelet3453d ago

Crackdown was great yeah, shame people concentrated more on Halo 3 demo than the game itself.

The full destructible city idea of the remake seems to be pretty good. I cant wait to see the gameplay.

SilentNegotiator3453d ago

Between Crackdown and the Halo 3 beta, I had a lot of fun with that game.

GokuSolosAll3453d ago

Type-0 is actually a good game. Spin-offs are better than mainline entries in FF now. I'd prefer to have a $50 option to NOT demo that turd.

WeAreLegion3453d ago

That turd is going to be incredible.

NoctisPendragon3453d ago

You can do it , you only need to wait something like 1/2 months.

Kurisu3453d ago (Edited 3453d ago )

I'd gladly pay full price for Type-0 with or without the FFXV demo. I pre-ordered before the demo was even announced!

GameBoyColor3453d ago

Lol we are getting the demo free and paying for type-0.

Dasteru3453d ago (Edited 3453d ago )

Then we are paying double what Type-0 is worth, to get the demo "free". A remaster of a PSP game shouldn't be more than $30 and even that is pushing it.

I gave up on Squeenix years ago and honestly would not care if they went bankrupt right now. They are a bunch of narcissists that make crap games at absurd prices and completely ignore their fans. Never willing to admit when they are wrong.

Anyone who buys Type-0 at full price is a tool.

OrangePowerz3453d ago (Edited 3453d ago )

I watched the comparison video and it looks like they put a lot if effort into the console version.

Also they never localised the PSP version for outside of Japan so they also need to account for the costs of that. Outside of Japan it's a completely new game that only a few people played if they imported the Japanese version.

I never played it and I'm perfectly fine with the normal price tag. If that makes me a tool fine.

Qrphe3453d ago

It's a 60hr long game with a lot more content than a lot of games nowadays.

OrangePowerz3453d ago (Edited 3453d ago )

You pay for Type-0, the demo is an added bonus, one that most likely will be for free to download in the store at some point.

I also wouldn't call it a re release in the US and Europe since the PSP version was never released here and never officially translated.

Glad that I absolutely can't stand subscription services.

Petebloodyonion101d ago (Edited 101d ago )

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

SonyStyled101d ago

Pay-per-view was almost cheaper than the cost of gas and rental fee from Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn’t exist today. Are you being sarcastic?

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Review – Zero Regrets

Gary Green said: After finally getting the long-overdue platinum trophies for Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and XV, I wondered if I could manage another. Despite a few blunders, it’s a franchise worth showing off in your collection. I had to find another game with a realistically achievable platinum, which sadly rules out quite a few. Fortunately, I didn’t have far to look as I dusted off Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which was, in fact, my very first PS4 game, and one that’s aging surprisingly well.

Final Fantasy XV Review – A Royal Road Trip

Gary Green said: With my fondness for (most) Final Fantasy games and my side goal of finishing off games in my collection with loose ends, a return to Final Fantasy XV seemed inevitable. It also serves as my third Final Fantasy platinum trophy after VII and VIII, a reasonable substitute since Final Fantasy IX is nigh on impossible to master.
