"I’m honestly surprised people have to even ask this. Isn’t it obvious? Square Enix is charging $60 because you’re paying some of that money for the Final Fantasy XV demo." -PSLS
To be honest. FF Type 0 is a great game. And while many is actually getting it for the demo, they will be surprised by how the great the game really is. And paying for a demo is nothing new. People did that with Zone of The Enders for MGS2 demo and Crackdown for Halo 3 demo. The two have become inseparable not only for the demo but also because i believe they are connected. Even if it called FFXV its still from the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga so i am pretty sure Class 0 and Lightning will be either there or at least mentioned.
"To be honest. FF Type 0 is a great game. And while many is actually getting it for the demo, they will be surprised by how the great the game really is. " I hope so! I loved the PSP import. It deserves more attention.
trust me, it may not look as lavish as AAA games on ps4 its a fun jrpg thatll last you a 100hrs, plus you get the ff xv demo the way i see it there are far worse games to spend $60 on.visuals aside youll definitely get your money's worth. depends on how much you care about graphics though. because if they matter more , then you may get evolve for $145 far as im concerned , id have got it for $60 even without the demo
I was just about to say that many people bought Crackdown for the Halo 3 demo. You beat me too it. ;) Crackdown turned out to be a pretty good game as well.
Crackdown was great yeah, shame people concentrated more on Halo 3 demo than the game itself. The full destructible city idea of the remake seems to be pretty good. I cant wait to see the gameplay.
Between Crackdown and the Halo 3 beta, I had a lot of fun with that game.
Type-0 is actually a good game. Spin-offs are better than mainline entries in FF now. I'd prefer to have a $50 option to NOT demo that turd.
That turd is going to be incredible.
You can do it , you only need to wait something like 1/2 months.
I'd gladly pay full price for Type-0 with or without the FFXV demo. I pre-ordered before the demo was even announced!
Lol we are getting the demo free and paying for type-0.
Then we are paying double what Type-0 is worth, to get the demo "free". A remaster of a PSP game shouldn't be more than $30 and even that is pushing it. I gave up on Squeenix years ago and honestly would not care if they went bankrupt right now. They are a bunch of narcissists that make crap games at absurd prices and completely ignore their fans. Never willing to admit when they are wrong. Anyone who buys Type-0 at full price is a tool.
I watched the comparison video and it looks like they put a lot if effort into the console version. Also they never localised the PSP version for outside of Japan so they also need to account for the costs of that. Outside of Japan it's a completely new game that only a few people played if they imported the Japanese version. I never played it and I'm perfectly fine with the normal price tag. If that makes me a tool fine.
It's a 60hr long game with a lot more content than a lot of games nowadays.
You pay for Type-0, the demo is an added bonus, one that most likely will be for free to download in the store at some point. I also wouldn't call it a re release in the US and Europe since the PSP version was never released here and never officially translated.
Im paying for Type-O
May wait and get FF Type 0 later. Saving money for Bloodborne and The Witcher 3. I still have a lot of other games to beat as well. No rush for this game. FF XV probably won't be out until the end of the year if we're lucky. Still a long ways to go.
And yet its only going to be available for a few people. And then for a limited time.
And it should be worth every penny.
Type-0 is already proven to be a great game. FFXV has fresh appeal and the hype.... but in the grand scheme of things, it might be the inferior game of the two! Either way, its a great package! Type-0 trophies, HD remaster... first great jrpg on PlayStation 4, and the demo for a game I've been waiting for close to 10 years!
I was gonna buy the game anyway.I heard so many good things about this game and now im gonna try it myself.Yeah i have been waiting for ffvsxiii for like 8-9 years now dont even remember anymore but its better than sell it like metal gear in separate box for 20-30$.Adding the demo in type-0 as a bonus its okay although i miss the days when i got back from school to download demos at psn weekly update.Demo's seems hard to get these days, hell i would pay to play bloodborne alpha though :P
I was going to buy Type-0 regardless. The demo is a nice extra though.
Nothing new at all. Lots of people bought Tobal No.1 to play the Final Fantasy VII demo.
Honestly, I was planning on paying fully for Type 0 despite the demo. I don't even really like demos, same as I don't much like wasting my time with betas. So for me, the demo has nothing to do with my Type 0 PS4 purchase.
