Gorgeous visuals and zombies are not two things that are usually said in the same sentence when referring to games. Zombie games have been known for their grittier appearance and usually pale color palettes. There have been some games that break that mold, but none that have done so like Dying Light‘s city of Harran. Everything from the glare of the sun to the blankets of rain that coat the city absolutely redefine the way visuals in a zombie game should be. To say the least this gives us a promising start for 2015 in gaming with this as the first big release new IP this year.
