Showtime To Adapt U.K. Mini ‘The Driver’ As Drama Series Starring David Morrissey

Deadline: Showtime is developing an American drama series version of the three-part BBC One thriller miniseries The Driver. Who starred in and executive produced the UK mini, is set to reprise his role and topline the Showtime project, which he also will executive produce. Justified executive producer Taylor Elmore will pen the adaptation with the original’s writer Danny Brocklehurst. CBS TV Studios, where Elmore is under an overall deal, is the studio.
