Get the GelTabz they are nice and stay in place. I bought the GripIts originally and they just feel apart!

I think Gamestop sells the GelTabz for like 7 bucks for 2 sets!

Exari3749d ago

dude, geltabz are the best! if your hands get sweaty and sometimes your fingers slip off, this is the solution. your fingers wont slip off again even if you had olive oil on them.

I bought the grip its about three months ago and they are fantastic...a bit tricky to put on initially, but once they're on they stay right where you put them, and the feel is great...much better than the oe grips. The geltabz are just ok imo...I bought the geltabz at the same time and they aren't in the same league as the grip its. Of course, you could buy them both as they're cheap and decide for yourself. As for the kontrol freeks, I've owned them in the past for the 360 pad, but didn't really care for them much.

I actually got a set of these for my PS4 but having have to spend $13 for a grip fix is really not what I had expected due to Sony cheap out on the rubber padding for the sticks as my left thumbstick start peeling off after a week heavy usage on MLB 14. I never had this problem with the DS3.

Tankbusta403750d ago

Sorry to hear that... I luckily have two ds4s and I switch off with them... It seems to keep the wear really down as I have had absolutely zero issues with either

No_Limit3750d ago (Edited 3750d ago )

depends how often you play with it. If you are hardcore PS4 gamer like me, I spent the whole summer playing MLB 14 and TLOU HD and GTAV are two of my most played games last year...I could imagine the damage without a protective grip with Bloodborne, MLB 15, witcher 3, and especially Mortal Kombat X will do to my DS4 in the first half of 2015.

xwilldemise3750d ago

Lmao MLB the show made the rubber peel of one of my Dualshock 4's analog sticks aswell

Cra2yey33750d ago

Grip itz aren't too bad, although they slip off when friends and family use them. Friends generally don't like them but I've gotten used to them.

BoriboyShoGUN3749d ago

If you like the GripIts you'll love the GelTabz

brotherlymoses3750d ago

I used to use these, but I switched the thumb sticks and added X1 thumbs sticks instead, it's felt so much better. For some reason the ps4s controller thumb sticks are very smooth so my thumbs kept slipping off a lot.

Tankbusta403750d ago

Interesting... I feel they are much better than the x1s sticks which I consider to be too loose...

Qrphe3750d ago

The mechanism of the sticks arms to be exactly the same. The only tall differences are the grips and height of the sticks.

Qrphe3750d ago

I did the same but have been having some cramping problems on my hands now after a session, I think it's because of the height of the sticks itself which want designed for this specific controller.

spaceg0st3750d ago (Edited 3750d ago )

Agreed. Swapped sticks for xb1 sticks, would never go back. Smaller diameter, grippier feel gives me more control. Love em

I paid $30 for my set of kontrolfreeks. Money well spent
